Dome Closure

 

These dome ended environmental fibre optic splice closures are suitable for pole and wall mounting or direct burial. The dome lid is held onto the base by a mechanical clasp for ease or re-entry. These enclosures allow for either single circuit splicing so that splices can be organised by customer circuit or for single element splicing so that splices can be organised by loose tube cable elements.

 

These enclosures can hold up to 672 splices using the single element splicing and 224 using the single circuit splicing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

These splice closures are used for emergency repairs such as in-line and aerial cable joints and are environmentally sealed. They contain one splice try capable of holding 24 splices, they have 2 cable ports at each end capable of taking cable from 5-15mm in diameter. These ports are sealed by an integral gel seal mechanism.
