These media convertors are designed to convert data signal between 10/100 Base TX and 100 Base-FX fast Ethernet. The Media convertor is connected between Fibre and twisted copper cable to allow smooth network operation.

 

Media convertors allow the transmission distance of existing copper RJ45 10 Base –T and 100 Base –TX equipment such as switches, routers and NIC’s to be extended over optical fibres.
